makings and doings

Linking in to Yarn Along for the makings bit...

Finished the vest (improvised from a tabard pattern) I've been knitting in Jo Sharp Aran tweed yarn...

And bought Knit The Sky yesterday when (grandson) Denver and I went to Agfest, so pondering a new project , either a sky blanket or an autumn (leaves) blanket, and whether to knit or crochet it??

And the doings...

After months of no rain, we have now had days of it, although today the sun is shining...

The other morning on my walk/run I took some photos of our first snowfall for the year on the Tiers...

a light dusting on the Great Western Tiers

and even lighter on Quamby Bluff...but it's not winter yet!!

the Meander River is up...

and flowing...

and the ducks are loving it!

as are the fungi

a patch of green in the garden...after the rain
